Elli studied Law at the University of Athens, Strasbourg/Robert Schuman University and the University of Cambridge/Trinity Hall College where she was awarded a Master of laws in Intellectual Property Law, the Law and Policies of the Single European Market, European Competition Law and International Commercial Litigation; She is accredited at the Supreme Court. She graduated from Athens College high school with honors.

For more than 25 years, Elli has represented many corporate US and EU-clients in the fields of intellectual and industrial property, entertainment law, competition, audio-visual production and distribution, advertising, publishing, software, media and multimedia, Internet law, electronic commerce, start-ups, personal data, artificial intelligence. She has also represented prominent authors, creators and scientists; she has developed synergies with big law firms that refer to her cases in these fields. She has in-depth knowledge and/or litigation experience in publishing (legal counsel of the National Book Centre throughout the live of the organisation in Greece), collective rights management, anti-piracy and production/distribution incentives and schemes.

As local legal and regulatory consultant of stakeholders’ and international organizations, she has contributed to combatting online piracy, the establishment of a film friendly regulatory environment in Greece and the financial support of international and local production of audiovisual works in Greece. She has provided legal services and supported the major film, television, audiovisual productions realised in Greece.

Elli has also worked as a consultant of the European Commission, the OECD and the World Bank in 10 technical assistance projects provided to the Greek Government in the field of regulatory structural reforms targeting the enhancement of the business environment such as the reduction of administrative burdens, the lifting of legislative restrictions for competition, the liberalization of regulated professions and the licensing of economic activities.

She has acted as Greek national expert at international conferences of UNESCO, ASEF (Asia-Europe Foundation), the Council of Europe; as Project Manager in culture projects funded by the European Commission; she has provided training to the members of the Cyprus Chambers of Commerce in European Law on Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights. Member of the IPR Committee of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce. Elli advises welfare organizations for suffering and disabled children in Greece. She is a member of the HAEF's Board and Foundation (Hellenic-American Educational Foundation).

She has published numerous articles in local and international law reviews. Elli speaks Greek, English, French, Italian.
