Danae studied Law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a Master of Arts in Documentary Photography from the University of South Wales and an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London.
She has worked for the Hellenic Copyright Organization, the Hellenic Industrial Property Organization and the General Secretariat of Commerce and Consumer Protection. Danae was member of the law-making committee for the modernization of the Greek IP framework and she recently assisted in the establishment of a new collective management organization representing the rights of music composers, lyricists and publishers.
Danae specializes in copyright in the cultural and creative industries and advises authors, artists, film/TV production, advertising and publishing companies, on a broad range of transactional and regulatory matters in the fields of copyright and related rights, industrial property, media and entertainment law, digital IP and data protection.
Danae speaks Greek, English, German and French.
